FOUNDERS
Quesada e-Technologies (QueTech) is owned and founded by the family of Ginofreo and Engracia Quesada. The business started in 1997 with the family's eldest son, Glenn, managing the business during it's infancy. His able stewardship made the company as it is today.
Operations is now managed by Engracia Quesada and Vilma Quesada, wife of Glenn. Planning and long-term decisions are made from abroad by Glenn and Ginofreo.
LANDMARKS BY Quesada e-Technologies (QueTech)
QueTech (formerly Mousenet Computer Center) as a pioneer in the computing business has on its track record a lot of computing landmarks embedded in the computing ecology of Pozorrubio and vicinities. The company:
- when it started operations in latter part of the millenium, change the way traditional Christmas celebration invitations are made, which was previously mimeographed; wedding and other event invitations were changed, and had virtually phased out everything traditionally done by the typewriter; it has brought desktop publishing to the community;
- projected Pozorrubio worldwide with its development of the town website, Pozorrubio Online, 1998; as well as the town's official LGU website, 'My Pozorrubio'; several other website were made, to mention a few: BVANHS Grand Reunion 2003, Bryce-Virgie Wedding, PozoConnect; Mousenet Computer Center; PICT; Connect Systems, Inc.
- pioneered a way of doing building plans with the use of CADD during the initial planning of the facade construction of St. Jude Thaddeus Church, 1991;
- was the first to open Internet Caffe, 1998;
- spearheaded the use of digital photography and digital video-graphy in video and photo coverage, May 2003;
- the first to create a wedding website, May 2003;
- the first to put up a TESDA-accredited training center;
- had provided training to professionals, school heads, students in a way convenient to their working and studying schedules;
- had been providing support to schools since 1997 in their computing needs;
- was the first and only in the area to conduct desktop computer assembly and troubleshooting workshops, April 2001 and May 2002;
- the first to provide 2 big screen real-time projection of big events (the Benigno V. Aldana National High School grand reunion, May 2-3, 2003);
Above contributions of QueTech in its immediate ICT (Information and Communications Technology) ecology is a proof to the innovativeness and foresight of the founders of the company.
QueTech will continue to bring innovation to the community and make technology within the reach of the masses. It is one of the components of QueTech's mission, which is embodied in its slogan: "Improving the Quality of Life in the Countryside Through Information and Communication Technology ."
